I don't find any $1 move on the crude. Cite source if anyone can verify this move. We have managed to hold on to the early gain. With 1 1/2 hour to go, we sure look like we are saying good-bye to 1997 on a very positive note. If Friday is a repeat of today, we are in really good shape and should start talking about profit taking. I think today's rally is in part due to some short covering. FLC is getting close to its upper BB. The upside from here is going to be more limited for FLC than others if the rally continues. My internet connection was on again, off again, so I'll post whenever I can. There is nothing wrong with the GW situation. On forward 1 year valuation GW is not as cheap compared to say UTI. It has big potential for big improvement in earning versus other land drillers but GW will move in tandem with others as well going forward. 10% move for GW a day is not uncommon and that had happened many times in 1997. Just be patient with GW.
