" I was trying to restrict my list to only stocks on the 3
major exhcanges because almost all BB stocks are scams. We could go on for
hours with all the OTC-BB scams out there."

Yes I can speak from experience unfortunately. There is strength in numbers, so the fact that over 90% of the BB stocks are obvious frauds is their protection from the SEC. The numbers are just too great for the SEC to want to get involved. A recent obvious scam on the BB was hvsf, a vivus wanna-be. This was a really obvious scam. It ran up to almost 10 bucks before collapsing back to 30c. My question is: Is it possible to short any of these scam BB stocks when they (momentarily) surpass $5? I've noticed that many of these scams have a great initial surge to around $10 where the insiders dump everything and the stock quickly collapse (usually to about 2-3). So if it is possible to short a BB stock at 10 I see this as a virtually no risk sure thing. There are very few of these sure things in existence so I would guess that you probably can not short BB stocks.
