As the ECB/ BOJ continue to kick my butt, I'm considering a position in GOOGL. I haven't gotten into deep DD yet but my brother works there and I've had various opportunities to talk with ad agencies over the past few years who talk about Google as if they were the Standard Oil of the ad business. They have great tangible book growth and a big portfolio of as-yet-unmonetized moonshot projects. A PE of 30 is pretty hefty even for all this, but I am rolling this Mike Burry post on Oracle and the subsequent price behavior in my mind:

I feel like I need at least 1-2 spots in the portfolio for picks that will benefit if all the crazies out there (:)) keep chasing yields to the ends of the earth.
