The $699 Presario 4212ES (with PMMX-166) and the pre-pricecut on PII 233 are just two examples that Intel has lost their powerful controls on the distribution and pricing on their own processors. These controls are the main factors enable Intel to maintain their profit margin. The eager pre-pricecut on PII simply indicated that PII are not moving out as planned. If INTC could not hold 70 today, reap it with puts! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!
