I'm not worried about SMTC's Q4. Jeff's comments are quite correct. The price pressures that SMTC may experience are being dwarfed by the increased sales volumes for the LDOs and other devices for the PC. SMTC's situation is completely different than that of the chip-equip companies. Asian companies are hesitant about committing to capital expenditures, so the chip-equip companies may be feeling some SHORT-TERM pain. But half of SMTC's revenues are driven by demand for PCs. In other words, as long as the PC unit volume increases, it doesn't matter if PC manufacturers have flat revenue growth. The sub-$1000 PC is good for SMTC, as is the 1998 switch to the Pentium II from the MMX.
