Fuchi, as I mentioned before I performed my tests using the same memory, video and hard drive. For live use, I bought an IBM Ultra DMA HD because wide SCSI HDs are still pricey. The SCSI connector is for backing up, scanning, etc. And thanks for the hint on the COM port cables! Craig
