Voter ID cards are "racist" but this is not? Who is going to buy new cell phones capable of texting for all the seniors in the US to access their SS accounts?

You must be able to verify some information about yourself and:
  • have a cell phone that can receive text messages,
  • have a valid E-mail address,
  • have a Social Security Number,
  • have a U.S. mailing address, and
  • be at least 18 years of age
To access your account, you will need to receive a code by text to complete the logon.
