Drug addiction just doesn't occur as frequently in that demographic, or the Asian values prevents them from starting to use to begin with. When the book, "The Bell Curve" was written, there was outrage that Asians were found to be smarter than whites, and whites were smarter than blacks, on average. It was the whites who were outraged, purportedly because they didn't like the classification of the blacks as less smart. You have to wonder if really the whites were really trying to defend their own smarts against the hyperintelligent Asians....
