Yes, I did see your offer for a bet on 2020 temperatures compared with 2010 temperatures, but I have a pile of things to do without entering into more contracts which will require careful definitions and whatnot. So for now I prefer to simply trade in the real world based on my ideas. It will be sufficiently interesting for me to watch the climate graphs over the next 4 years which is not long compared with the 9 years since Oct 2007 when I stated the likelihood of temperatures - so far I was right and the world's Global Alarmist scientists and people like Al Gore have been wrong.

You can read my prognostications in the Environment stream which has been ruined by the moderator who took over from the original excellent moderator.

I did offer Neolib something like a $1 million contract back in October 2007 regarding the next sun-spot peak but he declined my offer to take a bet. It turned out I was right on the money so it's very fortunate for him that he declined, except that enforcing the contract would have been a problem. Being the world's foremost prognisticator one has many opportunities to put one's money where one's mouth is. Such as shorting or buying companies in stock markets which have reliable counter parties and liquidity.

As you know, the Global Alarmists adjust temperatures to allow for confounding variables, but their adjustments are highly tendentious so we can take them with a grain of salt. I prefer to watch snow depth.

But thanks for the offer.
