I think a lot of people didn't like "The Bell Curve" because it seemed to give a rationality to discrimination.

Things were written about different races during slavery that seemed to "justify" slavery and I think most people want to avoid that sort of thing anymore.

Especially since the Nazis used the whole Super Race thing to kill like 6 million people just because of who they were.

I believe America is based on INDIVIDUALITY rather than generalizations about entire racial groups or ethnic groups.

You can MAKE IT in America regardless of your heritage....
