Yes. If you choose to put up you email address in public, then you expect a few emails.

The person that should be booted is the one who complained. Put up an email address, then surprise, got some email.

Guess he has ideas about what the content of private email are allowed to be, and he runs to SI, who now gets into the business of punishing certain people based on the content of private email messages! Incredible! So long as Zeev was not criminal, harassing, obnoxiously sending message after message (spam), I say his mail is his business.

If you don't want a little extra email from people who read the SI threads, then don't put your address up for everyone to see.

SI should step in only of someone really becomes a problem.

And ... SI should tell us what's going on. This is really, really poor member relations. Hiding behind a terminal while you take secret actions is like countries that haul people into police stations and no one ever knows why or what happened -- just that you never see them again. Apparently none of us knows what happened or why -- just that someone disappeared and now there are rumors....
