Some new developments are unfolding in Donald Trump´s babygate controversy. On Friday, Trump charged the media with being "dishonest" about his handling of a crying baby at an Ashburn, Virginia, rally earlier in the week. "The press came out with headlines: ´Trump throws baby out of arena.´ So dishonest. I mean these are dishonest people," the GOP nominee said at a Green Bay, Wisconsin, event Friday evening, insisting that he had been joking when he said the infant needed to leave. "Everyone´s having fun, we´re smiling, I´m waving. Everyone´s having fun, but they say Trump throws baby [out]. You know how terrible that is? It's such a lie. And they know it's a lie."That same day, Trump's general election opponent, Hillary Clinton, came out with a mocking video of Trump's own words from that memorable Virginia campaign stop, circulating it on social media:
Trump just said he "doesn't throw babies out" of his rallies...
