Hello to all. I'm a relative newcomer to SI and this thread. I have a small holding in TPRO and would like to commend those of you who have been working long and hard to gather, disseminate and debate the information found here. It appears that a fair amount of the recent discussion involves what the Dec. 19th Press Release says or doesn't say. As a communications professional I'd like to offer my general read. This press release is not unique in purpose or design. It was a FREE opportunity for TPRO to: _ promote themselves and their products/services to a variety of important audiences (BMY and their publics included), _ announce their association with a major corp. in the hopes of shaping credibility and momentum, _ carefully craft their own message/news story/self promotion, and to _ get their formal association with BMY off on the right foot. The last thing any company wants to do is piss off a new client, and their first opportunity to do so comes with the initial press release. I have little doubt that this release was a joint effort by the PR & Legal's of both companies. TPRO did not write James Ham's quote, nor would they construct BMY's plans/intentions when BMY is quite capable of providing that information as they want it presented. Each subject and word is carefully selected, reviewed and edited. In my opinion, TPRO, from their end, went as far with the announcement as BMY was comfortable/permitted. The next time you read the release, guess who's team wrote what. Season's greetings to all. Steve
