UTR. Stock Price Manipulation!! Check out the trading in UTR this afternoon. The stock trades 18 1/2 by 19 for 3.5 hrs and then trades a 82,200 share block up at 21 1/2 in the last 30 seconds of the last trading day of the year. In fact the stock was printed after the close. The big mutual fund holders (Fidelity, Nicholas Applegate, Pilgram Baxter as of Sept 97) get that mark on thier end of the year statements. If I were short this stock, I would have the floor governor investigate this one. This thing reeks of year end stock price manipulation/mark up by a "momentum" fund. No wonder people think the market is "rigged". IMOO. Happy New Year. PS-If anyone discovers how one can do this and get away with it, please let me know, I'll juice my performance in 98. Happy New Year.
