Al, let me give you an analogy that I'm sure you will either ignore or fail to understand, but I'll do it anyway for the record.

Jesse Jackson recently made a trip to Silicon Valley in order to help increase minority representation in high tech companies like Intel, Apple, and Google. Intel CEO Brian Krzanich met with Jesse Jackson, talked about Intel's progress in hiring women and minorities, and promised to do more.

One of the job requirements for all of the hardware engineering positions out there is a B.S. or Masters in Electrical or Computer Engineering. But there's a problem. The percentage of people holding those degrees that are black is well below the general ratio of African-Americans to the general public.

By your logic, that requirement is "racist" because it disproportionately excludes African-Americans from getting good jobs in high tech. Therefore we should just do away with that requirement and say that anyone who can do the job is eligible to apply.

Now I'll wait while you say, "But, but, it's different!" without explaining the difference, and while putting even more words in my mouth (like my supposed advocacy for a voter IQ test).
