Does anyone know anything about JMAR's involvement in LCD technology. It is my understanding that this is one of the areas that their lasers will be used for. I did find a reference to a paper written by someone at JMAR and others from Hitachi presented at a conference last February. Harry Shields, JMAR Technology Co. It sounds as though they may be referring to laser ablation, which is a process that uses short pulses of high peak power laser radiation to rapidly heat and vaporize thin layers of contaminants.
