Of course, it could just be that the GOP candidate is an wholly unqualified clown-bigot who got to the top of the primary heap by out-dog whistling his opponents with racist and xenophobic rants.

But that would be too straightforward. So lets just says its a nebulous conspiracy of media oligarchs, whenever they do their job and point out how unfit he is.
