As to assumptions, I can only guess at other people's motivations. But I do know what fascism is. I, in fact, posted a list of 14 characteristics that one scholar put in an article he wrote on the characteristics of the fascist regimes that have existed. The only ones that don't describe Trump's candidacy are because he hasn't been elected yet.

And I do have experience with people who are diagnosed Narcissistic Personality Disorder. If Trump doesn't have a diagnosis of that it is only because a professional hasn't analyzed him. Google it. The described characteristics are embodied in Trump. You do not want someone with that degree of NPD in a position of authority.

Those are the facts. No assumptions or guesses needed.
