It's not the next shoe to drop or anything like that, but it's certainly something to watch for when considering investing in automotive companies or banks with exposure to these loans. I do think there's a real possibility that new and used vehicles will have downward price pressure, and some signs of that are popping up. It's early, so the trend could reverse but it's something to keep in mind especially since GM and Ford both are seemingly cheap.
