How could he lift the ban? It is a law passed by Congress. Besides, DDT is far from the only way to control the Aedes mosquito. I know DDT gives you a hard on for inexplicable reasons, but... Given that it is exactly the same mosquito that carries West Nile, we already have all of the tools in place to deal with Zika. It is hardly unique. Aedes used to be the common carrier of yellow fever. Eliminating DDT didn't mean sudden spikes in yellow fever, malaria or any of the other diseases commonly carried by Aedes in the South. Not to mention the equine encephalomyelitis which had outbreaks in the 1970s, well after the DDT ban, but was quickly contained. It is pretty amusing how you like to parade your ignorance of issues on this site. I would suggest you use this opportunity to actually gain some knowledge, but I don't think you are actually capable of that. But, if you do, the CDC has some excellent materials available.
