Eric, I have an idea, the hollinger has flooded, but if you pump it out you will find quite aleap down the main shaft.
Did you hear about that mine in Kirkland Lake where the hoist broke and it lacked safety stops(way back) It was packed with miners, and hundreds of feet underground 2 miners standning near the opening as if went by were blown against the wall by the air blast and killed like swatted flies.
A very sad business that was in the annals of mining. All those that rode down were killed too.
