A few years ago, 2-3 whatever, one of the liberal blogs -- Slate, I think -- came under fire for not paying its interns. Then, they announced (on a page that has now been taken down) that they would pay their interns $10/hour. But, as a result, they would cut the number of interns from 12 to 7, something like that. If that had been me, the lightbulb would have come on. "Hell, we're paying the interns but cutting the number of jobs as a result. Maybe we're wrong about this minimum wage thing all along!" Not those guys. They just take the webpage down ASAP, all is forgotten. No spine. No commitment to truth. Just ideology. whopaysinterns.tumblr.com
