Unlikely.

Think about it. Who can afford an internship that doesn't pay? Someone who's parents are willing to pay their expenses in where ever the internship is. Which eliminates most people who aren't from well off families.

Unsurprisingly, you would side with a system that caters to the well off.

Yeah. Nothing elitist in your views.
