The Germans also had a V1 plane with no pilot.

I have a very vague recollection that the planes and/or the bomb it carried were made inside a hollowed out mountain S of Murnau along the East side of the road to Unterau and Garmish.

I do recall seeing a train track and tunnel leading inside the mountain, but I was never in it.

I most likely heard about it in 64-66 when I attended the Demolition and Mine Warfare course and later the Combat Engineer NCO Course in Murnau.
