Bob, I'm about ready to order a 21" Viewsonic PT813. It supports 1280x1024 at 100 Hz refresh and 1600x1200 at 85 Hz. I can get it for $1356 plus about $40 in shipping. True that it costs much more than a 19", but I won't need another monitor for a long, long time. Even though this monitor uses a 0.28 mm aperture grill technology versus the 0.25 regular dot pitch scheme their other monitors use, it is supposed to be clearer, sharper, and maintain veritcle and horizontal lines better to the edges of the screen. Do you know of a better monitor for the price? Thanks, and Happy New Year. Pravin.
