Hi ,This is not Class Action related, But I am curious
about your opinion in this matter.
I recently had a miserable experience with DLJDirect
and this is what happened: A few days back, I transfered
all my stocks from one of my old accounts with DLJ to a new
account (again with DLJ), at their suggestion. After doing
the transfer they gave me a heart attack saying that I have
a margin call for over $100,000 , even though the old account
did not have any margin call. After many rounds of voice and
email arguments and reversing the transfer, they agreed that
they had an 'operational error' . What they claimed was, they
have transfered over $100,000 in debt by using a wrong account
number.. I was appalled to hear that. NET RESULT WAS
ACCOUNT
WAS UNUSABLE FOR ALMOST 2 WEEKS. I think that there is
something
going on beyond the so called 'operational error' since it was
more than $100,000. My questions is:

is it worthwhile to take it to SEC? (I have
their email and recorded message where they agreed it is their
'operational error') . It is difficult for me to believe it is
an operational error considering it is more than $100,000.
