I would like to remind everyone that the key mistake in the Bre-X debacle was Felderhof's agreeing with de Guzman's assay methods. When questioned about the non standard methods Felderhof put up a fierce defence (including one gem to the effect that the doubters "should go back to school") of de Guzman's methods.
