Yeah, capex inflation and the Mt. Polley drive-by, along with a sequence of blunders and delays have put this to rest. Someone will dust off SC in a decade, drill a bit, run some new type of geophysics over it and it will go through another period of interest, but in the meantime it is on the shelf and forgotten. These porphyries will become increasingly difficult to permit- big pits, lots of tailings, traditional FN lands: all big targets for special interests to feed off of each other to advance their agendas. Add fish in the Stikine and the Alaskans and you have a perfect trifecta.
