I would agree with Mevis but allow for all galaxies to contain multiple solar systems which may each also support life. In fact there are probably some rather more violent types out there who or which have figured out ways to totally destroy other solar systems just for the heck of it and are only hampered by travel times to reach other locales. Also there are probably some robotic based life wandering this galaxy or others searching out biological life just for the heck of it. With 100 billion stars in this galaxy to consider and light years of travel time between stars and even more time between galaxies, they just haven't made it here yet. Or may be they have.

By the way, I went to cash in both positions in the post market.
