One could argue that refusing to release his tax returns is the most consistent message the campaign has ever uttered.As with all things Trump, what he says is not necessarily what he means. And even if he says he means something, a few days later he may say he was just kidding. But tax returns are different. They contain facts. If Trump released his, he wouldn’t be able to say he was just kidding about what they reveal.
