Jack, thank for pointing me to this source of self improvement. I think that we have to realize that quite a number of posters on SI are of foreign origins, and while some names indicate such distance from these shores, many others just use "handles" and other facades.

I for one still do not understand the prevalent use of "it is me" in lieu of what I believe should be in most cases "it is I". An explanation would be appreciated.

While I rarely engage in verbal pugilism on these threads, I do find that the speed of response and the lack of proof reading leave many of my own post wanting, both in grammatical structure (of which I have admitedly no formal knowledge) and in spelling (which in most cases is the result of speedy writing and lack of an on line proof reader (g).

I am looking forward to some needed education.
