Happy New Year, everyone!!!
I am HOPING that I will be able to hang out here later, since my husband has the stomach flu now and I don't really have any other party plans, but right now I am going to play my annual new year's eve game of Castle Risk (a little like Risk, an earlier version of the game with armies and boats and castles you protect and stuff) with my daughter and my nephew, while we all drink sparkling apple juice.
Well, I have a little glass of Southern Comfort, also, to be totally accurate. We still have the colorful Happy New Year banner up from last year, since it reminds us of all the family fun we have this evening on an annual basis, which has become a neat tradition since my family has started gathering in San Francisco for the holidays.
I really apologize for a whole bunch of posts from people I really enjoy that I have not answered over the last couple of weeks. When I do get a minute on the computer, after instructing the children to do long, tedious and complicated household chores or something to get them away from it, I have been making my way back from the latest posts, and it doesn't seem to work, as I am getting further and further behind. Duh, as my daughter would say!!!!!!!
