Bob, interestingly, I worked as Dept. Sec. at a higher level nuclear war weapons facility, which shall remain nameless obviously. We were developing a hand-held nuclear device, and suddenly everything on the Gvmt. contract fell through and we were all desolate as a corporate body. Long faces everywhere. Then suddenly there were great smiles all over. I ask why, and one of the marketing exec's with great glee said "_________ just sold the &%^%* ________ to the Arabs!" I ask in amazement to others close to me in the know, and they all smiled and nodded and said yep, he sure did. So that is maybe how it all works.

_______had gone to the international arms bizarre in Paris and sold the thing. Soon after that there was something between Iraq and Iran. All I know is that it was told to me. We made money that quarter, too. Whether is actually happened I can't prove, but I believe we did sell nuclear hand held munitions to the Arabs, all of whom were at near-war with Isreal at that time, as well as very hostile to US. It was very strange to me, and I wondered if the government knew about it, and I'm sure they must have.
