$175K per unit is very high for suburban apartments in fast growing sunbelt markets. Not sure what percentage of the pie is in DC. Is worth watching for me for the trends both macro and my micro markets as cost basis remodeled on my single family houses are around $50k. Would love to cash out anywhere near $175k end of this cycle...

No doubt heading to a massive bubble. How this plays out and unwinds will be interesting. Many regular folks far away from the media and corporate elites talk about the squeeze on discretionary income due to huge increase in costs from rent, to health care and education in recent years. Is quite painful even as our so called inflation rate is under 2%.
