Rex,

Sorry to be going back to this issue after so long.

"All of the wireless systems that I can think of that use GaAs
use Class C output stages except for the Qualcomm CDMA systems.

- HBT wins in:
úlinear input amps,
úlinear power amps (Qualcomm CDMA)

- MESFETS win in:
úDigital circuitry,
úClass C Power amps,
úvery low noise input amps that don't have to be super linear."

My concern is that I have heard some saying the CDMA phone systems are the future. Do most CDMA systems require highly linear power amps? Do you feel that most wireless phones will eventually migrate to CDMA? If so, can we assume that RFMD's HBT devices will be eating away at ANAD's power amp market share?

What is your current take on the four GaAs companies for growth this year: ANAD, TQNT, VTSS, RFMD?

Happy new year and thank you for your response!
