I have been trading some, and tracking all of Bernie's picks. His most recent include his Nov. picks, including UAL, G, AMGN, HNZ, MIR, OXY, PFE, SBUX, WCOM, KO, BKB, MSFT, DIS, BHI. For tracking purposes, I have been using the purchase of ONE option of each security, and adding a commission of $29 in, and $29 out. For these recommendations, some of which are closed, and some of which are still open, I show a profit of $1,291.00. Remember, this is on only ONE option traded.
His December picks included ARC, AKL, PWJ, PNU, ED, and UNH. All of these positions are still open. Here, using the same method, I show a current loss of $136.00. I exit the trade at the closing price on the day he recommends, and I open the trade at the smaller value of his recommended entry price, or if the option is trading lower than the entry price on the day of entry, I choose the closing price. If the option does not trade down to his entry price, I ignor the trade.
