Hi, T.R.!!! Happy new year!!! Thanks for the joke--you are right, it was not exactly a knee slapper, but sweet and happy nonetheless. I am not sure what I would say about a very ribald joke about a Catholic priest, anyway, but if you ever come across one, you know where to email it!!! <: )

I am a little Polish myself, a quarter, actually. However, the Catholic part of that didn't stick in my case. Anyone who does his best, accepts others as they are and tries to do the right and decent thing, as it sounds like you live your life, is well on his way to inner peace and happiness, in any event. While I am not expecting any eternal rewards, and would just like the peace and happiness to keep coming right here, I can certainly understand why it is important to some people, especially as we age and death seems like it is coming sooner, and can be frightening. Are you saying that even if you did everything right, if you did not believe in the hereafter, it would not come for you? Bummer!!! I always wondered if I would be pleasantly surprised!!!!!!

Very best wishes to you and your family this year!!!!!!!
