ed, you are incorrect. remember I was there you you weren't. the great news was followed by a great forward looking report from cpq and stk still crashed. the early yrs of the pc industry was wird. Cpq was setting every modern record possible for growth. The issue was analsyt when faced with the growth cpq had were constantly saying " this can't last. we don't beleive the numbers, there is something wrong" they had no evidence or proof but to look at history and say no compnay has ever done this and it will not last... so, they crashed it.
