GZ: Happy New Year. We should form the early morning club. Can't get to my e-mail because I have a number of people staying over from last night. There is someone sleeping in each room so I am using my other half's computer while I lurk in the semi-dark typing. Watched the BeeGees last night on HBO pay for view. Took me back a few years. Ahhh, to be a baby boomer! Kas1 did a nice job of summarizing peoples' predictions. Interesting that there seems to be some consensus. I guess I would fall into that group of people who are prepared to see a drop in the market during the first part of the year. Read TSC last night and one analyst was even predicting that the January rally would not begin until after the first week of January. If that is the case, there is likely not to be much of a rally because as soon as the earnings reports start to come out, there will be general consternation about other peoples' reports as soon as the first negative one hits the news.
