Stephen--- I think you and I are the only ones without a hangover this quiet morning.

There is a nice surge in mainframe buying at this point that will help IBM and others, but she is probably correct at 100 it does not seem to be a steal. CPQ has the world, but Asia is a small part. The bigger problem as I see it is Asia will effect Japan - big time. Japan will effect nearly every US multinational company. I am not sure how much it will effect CPQ, especially with growth coming from different areas and products. ORCL at this level (1/3 of my holding) is a bargin, but 2/3 of my holding is at 35--- that will go this qtr to put that money back to work-- and offset some gains in 98. Actually on the 9th it can go with no wash rule problems and if at the same level will be repurchased in Mar. Do you think if MSFT missed its projection by .25 it would be trading at 80? Me either that is a reason to put a little ORCL in the portfolio at this range--- it may not be here long.
