surfing, movies and video games for backseat passengers and a
wireless keyboard so that kids can do their homework on the
road.

Intel hopes to have systems available for installation in virtually
any vehicle by 1999. The chip-maker is in talks with major car
makers to have the computers included as an option in production
cars by 2000, said Richard Brogan, marketing manager for the
Connected-Car program.
