That makes it make sense. <If you gouge people by having the Gov put your competition out of business, as this company did, you may pay for it. >

But that's just the way the USA operates [in many areas]. Pay to play. Get government favour or protection and get big boodles of loot. The USA has the best politicians money can buy.

People vote for more of it every election then whine when their lives inevitably go Venezuelan, or even Zimbabwean.

<Maybe the FDA is the problem, blocking other people from doing things. Maybe the doctor cartel is the problem so people can't buy what they like and get anyone they like to inject cheap alternatives. >

Good guess Mq. Everything that happens anywhere makes sense when you have the right information. The cosmos is causal. God does not play dice. We're living in a probability 1 reality. Quarks, like ants, do not operate on random rules, even if from a distance they appear to run randomly all over the place looking for somewhere to do what they do. We have no choice in our choices, but since we have no idea what the heck is happening in detail, we just have to make our choices and hope for the best. Flipping a coin is not random. [Yes, I got a bit side tracked]
