Clinton,

I don't know what's available on Prechter's elliot wave theory. I understand it, but I don't have any material on it nor am I familiar with any of his available material or publications. I've come to understand his wave principle since I knew several people that studied his work extensively and they taught me what they could over a period of a few years.

According to elliot wave theory, we've reached the fifth grand wave at these levels at this time. The beginning wave count started in 1929. The price range is 7800-8400 and scheduled to occur in 1997-1998 time frame. This is the only serious caveat to any blind faith bull.

I think we could get a selloff this next week, but only for a brief time. The surprise to which I'm referring is longer term, that the market will not go very far in any correction and that ther market will be stronger in 98 than is typically expected. I'm almost all in cash and long bonds right now because of the elliot price and time frame, and am holding just a few select stocks to keep my interest.
