I agree with your sentiment about being over zealous and singled minded about a stock. I have learned a valuable lesson this year about irrational exuberance as it relates to a stock. If you really want to make money in the market, find a thread that is irrational to any negative comments(Swiss deals comes to mind)and a stock that has a major impact date coming up and posters are exuberant about the stock, then short the heck out of that baby. For example just look at the following threads: DEPO(Total Disaster)RADAF(Drops nearly 4 points on positive earnings) CYMI(50% drop when posters were projecting the sky) GUMM(They really got chewed up) LGND(Signed biggest deal in history of company and stock drops 30%)What can you say about JMAR that isn't reflected in the stock price.ZOLT( Really took a jolt in share price) This list could go on and on. What is unique about each of these stocks is that the threaders wouldn't entertain any negative comments.
