Now you've done it Art!! While reading your post it brought
back memories of when I did the same with my parents but I
was grown and had a wife. (And I believe we paid more.)
I'm a tent camper that loves the National Campgrounds in
North Carolina. Standing Indian, Carolina Hemlock and
Deep Creek, my favorites. Getting back to basics does
me a lot of good. Everyone knows how to enjoy what we
have in City life but so many don't get the chance or just
don't know how to take advantage of all the simple pleasures
just waiting for us out in the peaceful setting of nature.
In the Nantahala River at Standing Indian we would pick
out the garnet from the fine gravel on the bottom of that
cold and refreshing clear water. They were small and not
worth much but every one was a treasure to us.
I guess also like UMSI. Small and not worth much but
every one hoping it becomes a treasure!
Just hang in there, guys. It's a new year and maybe, just
maybe it will turn around.

Don't mean to ramble, guys, but it's such a nice New Year's
day so far and it's nice to have a break from the stress
and aggravation that's been around. So put UMSI and the
other's aside and enjoy the day.
I WANT TO WISH YOU ALL A MOST WONDERFUL AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR,
BUT MOST OF ALL A HEALTHY ONE!!!

P.S. I always wondered about something. The northerners come
to Florida for vacation and us Floridians go to North Carolina
for vacation so where do the North Carolinians go?
