<So not only do hotmail users get inundated with spam, but they are also ignored via milions of email filters because hotmail is a repository for assholes selling pooper scoopers online.

Hotmail is useful for setting up extra email accounts for others in the family. It's also good for library internet users, etc. So there is a logical market for this service.

While Hotmail cannot totally prevent Spam, my wife's used it for a year and has gotten maybe one junk email via it. I have never gotten any junk email from Hotmail thru other ISP email accounts. Hotmail claims that it goes to great lengths to avoid becoming what you describe. Our experience tends to verify that; maybe others have different experiences.

I would be interested in the rationale for your statements re Hotmail. Thank you.
