I think he's referring to an article in The Wall St Journal describing the situation where <snip>A former stock promoter has pleaded guilty to one count of tax evasion and two counts of conspiracy to commit securities fraud in connection with a two-year investigation into insider trading.<snip> The article talks about investigating Donald Kessler's relationship with Dan Dorfman, also. Apparently the guy was making pretty large money setting companies up to gain access to Dorfman (assumably so he would write favorably about their company to drive their stock price). According to the article (which was copied in it's entirety and probably going to earn the poster a TOS from AOL) Dorfman has not been implicated (yet ) and denies any wrongdoing. Six others have been convicted though in the process.
