Jaybe/BioM, the formula for Iclusig has probably been patented at least 8/ 12 ago and maybe even more than that. What if Ariad tweak its formula(schematics) today and apply it for a new patent for other potential indications close to clinical trials. Would that be considered a new patent and as such enjoy a longer ownership of the patent than the two current indications for CML marketed today? TIA.
