Bought POT Potash today at $17.82 and sold Sept $18 calls at $0.55. Company has confirmed they are in talks with AGU about a potential merger of equals. The stock is not above it's recent range enough to have broken trend so I think the downside is limited while upside on potential merger remains. The 55 cents for 2 1/2 weeks is 3% of my purchase price. I like the risk level. I will keep selling calls until I lose the stock and then decide if I should sell puts. I play with POT every few years it seems. It has been in a down trend for a few years. bloomberg.com Jim
