This system I have been trying to develop has been extended to QQQ and some ETFs and a particular bio portfolio. I have just tweaked some things and gotten more creative and developed a QQQ trading tool (for components) that works about 60% up/40% down. This signal is more robust than some others I have going as it stays fairly constant at about 10 bps a day as you extend out. Some spots are 61/62% up and some 56/57% but up outdistances down enough to keep steady. I have a separate signal giving 15 bps a day but too specific, too few trades. This one is about 1-2 trades per day. It has fired a host of trades in past 3-4 days:
  1. TSCO (8/9 signals worked in past, 2% over 10-15 days, 3% over 20)
  2. WBA - no good (good short signal)
  3. DLTR (7/7 if use 50D trade, 5/7 at 10D, 7% at 10D, 13% at 50)
  4. Most bios (BIIB, VRTX, REGN, ALXN) - VRTX 4th best in QQQ on signal. 5/6 up 8ish% at 3-4 wks. REGN up 5/6x too but small. See TSCO above. ALXN/BIIB 50/50 calls but up slightly.
  5. DISH - no good (short?)
  6. DISCA/K - pretty bad with K down over 3-4 weeks
